When listening to an audio or video, here are the things to keep in mind:
Have a small stack of hand towels or a small firm pillow to place under your head as needed or for any other area to provide more comfort
Have a mat
Go very slowly
Take breaks if and when you need them, even if not given, and just listen
Feel free to pause the lesson as needed to give yourself time
Move within your own comfortable range
Do NOT push or strain. You will get more benefit by doing less
Don’t ever go into discomfort, modify by going slower, smaller use props if you like for comfort, and if need be, do it in your imagination
Don’t worry about doing the movements the “right” way
Do your interpretation of the directions if you are confused but always within your comfort range
Be curious and enjoy the changes you feel physically, emotionally and perhaps spiritually
Follow any healthcare restrictions you have been given
